Case Study: New Zealand and Fiji DVD

Client: Austravel
Brief: To produce an informative and entertaining video guide that can be used by clients as a dynamic trip planner.
Target Audience: Austravel customers

The DVD provides a comprehensive video guide to both New Zealand and Fji broken down into easy-to-watch 3-6 minute sequences by region. Using animated maps and an interactive menu the viewer can create their own tailormade tour.

The video follows four travel professionals on location although the main focus of the programme is the local people. Through a series of conversation soundbites the viewer gets a real sense of both the people and the place.

Case Study: Thailand 'The Ultimate Guide' DVD

Client: Tourism Authority of Thailand
Brief: To produce an informative, entertaining and comprehensive DVD guide highlighting all regions, the diversity and the quality of the products available.
Target audience: UK Travel Agents

The DVD merges footage collated on two separate location shoots (the second post the Dec 04 Tsumani). In each case, the video follows a group of selected travel agents on location in Thailand. Each group followed a separate itinerary and were shadowed throughout by a professional camera crew. The travel agent’s input is unscripted and spontaneous capturing their genuine enthusiasm for the destination.

The end product is a 45 minute video tour which brings to life Thailand’s main tourist regions as well as highlighting special interest products such as Golf, Diving and Spa Holidays.

Case Study: Malaysia TravelFax



Client: Tourism Malaysia
Brief: to produce a destination guide to Malaysia and to use the product as the starting point for the development of a ‘Malaysia Specialist’ programme.
Target audience: 1000 travel agents


We appreciate that travel agents have little time for research and feel it is unrealistic to expect them to do out of hours training. TravelFax puts all the information they need to sell Malaysia with confidence at their fingertips’ Claire Morrow, Trade Marketing Manager, Tourism Malaysia.


As well as detailed destination information and reference sections, the Malaysia TravelFax includes a CD Rom based training session. Having completed this initial training, agents are then invited to report their bookings and promotional activity to the TravelFax database team.
